Dr. John Owings, DC
Dr. John Owings, Executive Director of the Natural Healing Center of Grand Rapids and home of the Advanced Family Chiropractic Center, has dedicated nearly three decades to helping patients find relief from pain and restore their health. His journey into chiropractic care began in high school after sustaining spinal injuries while playing basketball. Experiencing firsthand how non-invasive adjustments resolved his pain inspired him to pursue a lifelong career in natural healing.
Dr. Owings earned his Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communications from the University of Alaska in 1991, followed by his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College in 1996. Since then, he has been serving the Grand Rapids community through private practice, helping thousands of patients manage conditions such as neuropathy, chronic pain, and spinal disorders.
Licensed by the State of Michigan and certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE), Dr. Owings combines advanced chiropractic techniques with integrative approaches to support nerve health, improve circulation, and provide neuropathy patients with long-term relief.
